Recently my family and I made the trip to Old Orchard Beach in Maine. We even got all the grandparents to come along. The weather was rainy the majority of the time but everyone made the best of it and had fun. The kids still loved playing in the sand and cold Atlantic water. The last day there a thick fog covered the beach. There's something about fog and thunderstorms that always inspires me to write some of my own stories down. I had a few daydreams about sea creatures and strange monsters that may be living in and around the waters there. My 5 year old and I definitely enjoyed running away from the creature we imagined in the water. I'll probably sketch out some ideas I had, maybe in ink and watercolor.

Time lapse self portrait video - semi finalist for Jerry’s Artarama Self Portrait Contest 2020 This past year has been full of unexpected changes for my family and I. At the beginning of the pandemic we found out we had to move from our home of almost a decade. So, we made a big decision to move back to the northeast, closer to our families. Even though it’s been full of changes and we are still in a period of transition, we are fortunate to have had everything work out. I do truly believe that you create the life around you, things always find a way to work out for us. We are still figuring out where in the area we want to live, also hoping to purchase our first house together. While my makeshift temporary studio space isn’t as big as before, I have set it up to be more efficient. And I’m finally getting around to updating my website and Saatchi page. yay!
