Stacey Sherman is an artist from the United States. She grew up in the green mountains of Bennington, Vermont and recently moved back there after living in the high desert of Santa Fe, New Mexico for almost 10 years. She works in colored pencil, encaustic, oil paint, and mixed media.
The majority of her paintings and encaustic work are representational and influenced by nature and fringe concepts from the paranormal and psychology. Through layers of material she explores and builds upon layers of symbols, dreams, and memories. |
